Glossary of Terms, Part II

A few important additions have made it worth doing a Glossary of Terms, Part II. For the terms already defined in Part I, click here.

boobie juice - a wonderfully nutritious substance that seems to be a highlight of Cole's day (and night)...the rest is kind of self-explanatory.

fussbot - a special kind of Transformer that pouts and cries in order to wear down his enemies. Can always be recognized by the rallying cry, "Fussbots, roll out!"

Jekyll & Hyde baby - a baby who cannot decide whether to laugh or cry. Often spotted giggling and then immediately wimpering, or loudly crying into a big smile and laughter. Most often seen alternating with giggle, frown, smile, cry, laugh, sob....

smile button - the button directly under the eyes and above the mouth; when pressed, inevitably leads to a smile

Squirm Olympics - an Olympic alternative exclusively for babies. Requires enormous skill and endurance in squirming. Qualifying trials held in Oakland, CA, 2008.

teefer check - close visual inspection of the mouth for the progress of the teefers, otherwise known as those sharp white things that have begun to punctuate our baby's gummy smile. Last teefer check counted five teefers present and accounted for.
